List member Oded Blaustein discovered at the Moreshet .org site a document
written by his grandfather Kalman Gronich.

K.Gronich was a Zionist leader who risked his life rescuing an escapee from
Transnistria and helping many people hiding in Cz., among them Polish
refugees.

The letter was written in German, in August 1943 in Czernowitz.

It was addressed to Jewish underground activists in Bucharest.

He almost begged them for money, more money for all the unhappy people in
Cz. and Transnistria who asked for help.

At the above mentioned archives they hold documents in Hebrew and other
languages.

The staff is very friendly and helpful.
