Iosef...
It's true the code you provided will implement a google search box.
We had an identical search box on our home page years ago and it worked
fine for quite a while. Unfortunately, a few years ago, the standards
folks in their infinite wisdom, depreciated the use of 'frames', the
very structure upon which our website is built. Our search box stopped
working because Google apparently changed search box code at their end
so that it would not work in a frames environment, but would be in
compliance with the new standards.
So the short story is, the code you sent won't work on any page on our
website -- I tried it. It does work fine in a non-frames environment --
I tried it.
If I had to do it all over again, I would surely not use frames. To
change the website over now is not an option for me as it involves
changing a massive number of pages by myself.
The above said, there may be 'coders' in our group who can take a deeper
look at this problem -- if so, I would be pleased to work with them (You
might be one?).
Best,
jerome
