Thank you Berti! I made a correction to my former post during the trip in spring. I do not know if you were aware of it, there were so many posts at that time. Your note was a real help to locate the Stangerische Shil. Thanks again!

Some months ago when Christian looked up most of these places he asked and
I pointed out to him that No. 34 is definitely not right.There never was a
Synagogue at Stefaniegasse 2, the confusion was probably with the
Stangerische Schiel near the backyard of No 3. I suppose there might be
other mistakes on the map - so if somebody searches the places don't be
surprised not to be always at the right site.
