Hi Edgar,
I wrote an answer and the postmasters reply was that he could not deliver
the mail...so again
Thanks for the news of the Tag, I found very many old friends and known
names, if you are interested, I can write the "chronique"of many of
them...was happened..for example Dr.Kucinski the police comossaire...He
lived in the house of my grandparents from 1920, in the Albertinengasse 16,
had 2 boys twins, Fritz and Willy,3 years older than me, and the daughter
Hilde...After the death of my father, we lived in the same house,,,To us he
was fair, but very strong to the comunists...In 1940 he went with the
Germans in the action "Heim ins Reich" to Germany. Both sons were taken to
the SS...One of them was killed in the war, the other was hanghed as war
criminal in Poland.I do mot know if Hilde, the daughter remained with the
man she married, as is written in the "News" of the Tag, I was told that she
married in Bucarest a German diplomat before WW2.......
Shabbat Shalom

Czernowitzers...
You will remember, that "Der Tag", the daily Czernowitzer newspaper, ceased

society events, marriages, silver and golden weddings, engagements,
decorations, birthdays, jubilees and more, excerpted from "Der Tag":

You'll find the events in chronological order at the above mentioned
posting, in alphabetical order at the bottom of this mail or as PDF-file
just here:

This was now the fourth and final part of "The Remains of 'Der Tag'", which
is still available for your research at:
