Asher...not sure you are right. Yes.we were a Kronland of the Empire, but
this title seems to refer to the Bukovina as a heartland of German-language

Bianca, Herzland is not a translation of Heartland.

Bukowina, was an Herzogtum - a Duchy

I don`t know who was the lucky Duke (Herzog) who owned our ancestors but
