To confirm what Cornel wrote about the Ruthenians.
The people in the villages around Czernowitz,
who are now considered and counted as Ukrainians,
were in our time considered by others as well as by themselves as
Ruthenians.
They spoke Ruthenian, which is more similar to Polish than Ukrainian.
For "Good Day" they said "Zhin dobre"
The Ukrainians say: "Dobre denj"
In Czernowitz there was a Ruthenian political party the head of which
was Dr. Alexei Zaloziecki.
