Dear All,
Have just heard that our List member Lydia Schmerler from Paris has
passed away after fighting a long illness. She will be buried today.
She was a warm-hearted, intelligent, sweet and cultured woman. We only
met her a few times, but she made a lasting impression on us.
Her parents and Charles Rosner's parents were friends and of course,
Charles and Lydia knew each other well,both having grown up and
lived in Paris. A nephew who lives in Berlin has asked us to inform the
List members.
We are very sad.
