In addition, the building behind the soldiers seems to have been burnt. The
walls are blackened around the windows and the façade looks damaged. WWI
battle damage?

What is interesting about this picture is that this must have been some sort
of military checkpoint...the car and men next to it are military as is the
man with the slung rifle to the left of the Jewish chap.Is this pic dated??
