Thank you vey much for the infos.

I have a picture of my great-grand father in a dragonaer uniform. I
know the only cavalry regiment which accepted romanians is the 9th
regiment (50% Romanians).
Benjamin's information is close to the family memories, that this
ancestor of mine fought in the Triste Region (Italy). But later on,
the same family memories say that he fought on the Russian front,
because he was a prisoner in Russia for a few months, until after the
war. So thank you too, Cornel.

But I'm opened to any other infos/clues
