Dear Hardy, thanks for the photo. I was born in Putila. My mother, as a
young doctor, was sent there for a couple of years to fight the
tuberculosis epidemics and my father was doing well managing a wood cutting
factory. It was a welcomed change and recovery for them after Transnistria
