Dear Czernowitzers, Dear Edgar,
Thanks a million for publishing the page with "The Ethical Seminar in Czernowitz".
http://hauster.blogspot.de/2014/02/the-ethical-seminar-in-czernowitz.html
Both my parents Nathan and Clara (Claire) Sinnreich were members of the Ethical Seminar in Czernowitz and after 1945 in Bucharest.
See members number 154 and 155 and as well my uncle Daniel Sinnreich listed at 153.

Many other people listed there were lifetime friends of my parents, both in Czernowitz and later in Bucharest.
In the 3rd picture, my mother nee Clara Hönich is seated in the front row middle in the dark dress. She was indeed very beautiful.
I believe to recognize also a friend of my parents, Hans Grossman, in the first row, second from right, but cannot be sure.
The book "Das Ethische Seminar in Czernowitz by E. Rottner" is one of our family treasures.
Thanks again,
Henry Sinnreich

Since the publication of his main work in 1908 (Die Lehre von den Geistigen und vom Volk), but especially due to his personality, Brunner attracted the spiritually young, as well as intellectuals, politicians and artists, thus creating the "Brunner-Circle". Apart from Berlin, where a Constantin Brunner Society was formed in 1925, the main center was in Czernowitz, the "Ethical Seminar" founded by Friedrich Kettner in 1919.
