Sounds good.

Just wash off the ammonia mixture very, very well, as
if left on, it will further damage the stone (as would any
chemical).

"Iım afraid I am not expert when it comes to removing moss, especially
from gravestones.

I did spend a few minutes looking into this and found that 1 cup of
ammonia to a gallon of water, using a soft brush that is kept wet at all
times, starting at the bottom and working your way up the stone, keeping
the stone wet throughout, and rinsing well with water when finished are
keys to success. The moss and lichen, even when removed, can leave a
³scar² though.
