Christian - your reporting has been great and, as always, appreciated. I brought this latest on your visit to Novoselitsa to the attention of a childhood friend from Curaçao whose father's family was from there. He had seen photos before of the wall and ceiling paintings, including the name (in Hebrew) of Benjamin Gandelman, his ancestor, but was especially thrilled to learn that it is possible to see these in person with the help of Mr. Kushnir, and so will make the pilgrimage some day. Wishing you a safe journey home.
