When Salah Shabaty , Kishon's epic figure, explains his family he says:
" And there is this old woman who says she belongs to our house
but I really dont know how..."

ŗMy motheršs paternal great-grandmother˛ is what I would say. It gets
into a mathematical expression beyond that, a binary number. For example
if 1 is female and 0 is male, my maternal grandfather would be 01 and his
mother would be 101 (with the most recent being on the right). That makes
it easier to go out many generations. (It might be more conventional to
have 1 as male and 0 as female.)

What does one do if onešs grandfather remarried?
