Certainly my father, a practitioner of deep, Army-style Common Czech, would have called diarrhea / dysentery exactly that. Thing is, I always assumed that was a pretty pure Czech word. If it isn't, what is it? It's clearly from the Slav root 'to flow'...

  On the second or third day of our stay at the Cheremosh
  I got a loose stomach. My face was green and I was feeling
   accordingly .
    The taxi driver who picked me up asked me what the matter
  was ?
    How could I make him understand my condition ?
      Then a light came up and I told him just one word:
     " Srachka ".
         I was never better understood.
