Dear Elisa,
I'd like to offer you my sincere condolences on the passing of your beloved father Ezra and to thank you at the same time for your very touching mail. May his memory be a blessing!
I checked the archives of the Czernowitz newspaper "Der Tag" for Heymann, written with a "y" not a very common name, and found a preannouncement dated 29.04.1933 for a literary evening on 07.05.1933, presenting Yiddish authors, such as Kulbak, Nadir, Steinberg, Peretz, Bialik, Molodowska and others. One of the lectureres was G. Heymann, who knows...?!
P.S.: We've got also the soda industrialist Jakob Heimann (01.01.1935) and Josuah Heimann on Strada Dobrogei 1 (05.05.1933).
