So sorry to hear of your loss, and the passing of one of the precious
generation whose life journey started in the enlighted Bukovina world, lived
through the darkest times, and managed to emerge and make amazing positive
contibutions and lasting impressions on their own families and on Jewish and
general society.
Wish you and your family long life, and may you have no more sorrow, and
Shanah Tova for the year 5775.

My father, Ezra Heymann, passed away on September 22, at 85 years old after
a quick illness. He was born in Czernowitz in 1928.

Last week he asked me to write to the cz-l after his death. He wanted me to
tell you how much he enjoyed his late discovery of the cz-l. And that the
admired the accuracy of many of the memories of the list members For his
tumbstone inscription he requested to include: "Professor: From the
cultural meridian Czernowitz to the world".
