Hah! I had some Mamaliga last night. But I didn't have any Brinza in the
house. If the Romanians had been more enterprising than the Greeks with
cheese exports, the West would refer to this cheese as Brinza, sometimes
from Greece, as opposed to what I had to explain to my offspring as Brinza
being Romanian Feta. And it looks so neat and tasty on that dish. But in
a smaller dish I noted little pretzels, the factory made kind that didn't
exist in our days.
