Thank you, Edgar and Ioana. Your article brought back memories.
As a child we spend many weeks, each summer vacationing in Solca at my mothers sister and her family,the Donenfelds. I remember the spruce and Fir Forrest, the wonderfull smell of the trees and plants. The sound of the birds and, in the morning the barking of dogs.
The food was great, particularly I loved the "kraemschnitte," namely Napoleons.
The air was pure, clear and cool.
