Exactly. Iosif has the same problems as me with the new arrangement. I
cannot see the sender in the “Inbox view”, and I cannot sort or search
messages on the “From” field.

I have always tried to save messages of particular interest to me. I find
it difficult to do this on a day-by-day basis, so every now and then I scan
back through the emails of the last fortnight or so, to see which ones I
would like to save. This becomes virtually impossible if I have to open
every email to see who it was from.

And if for example I want to find a particular email from say Mimi which was
sent a few days ago, on a subject where there are many contributions, how am
I supposed to find it? Open every email on this subject?

This change is therefore a major inconvenience to me.

I know this, I was talking about two other issues:

1) impossibility to see the sender in the Inbox view mode
2) impossibilty to search old messages using "From" field
