Dear All,
Many of you have asked me for details on how the work at the cemetery,
which is supported by the city of Vienna will be carried out.
The way I understand it, the city of Vienna works through an organization
named "Confins" and a Ms. Cordon in Vienna and through an organization
named Nova Simja" in Chernivtsi.
I know no more about these two organizations than can be found on Google.
The extra good news are that Yakov Schwarzman will oversee the work.
Yakov is a Czernowitzer businessman, generally liked and esteemed
in the city and in the community.
He is also a good friend of Georg Goosman, one of the most active volunteers
from ASF Germany, who knows a lot about trees and bushes and the means of
eradicating them. Georg has taught Yakov how to apply the herbicide
to the stumps of the trees and bushes and I therefore hope that Jakov may be
able to convince the hired workers to apply the herbicide.
I know Yakov and will be in touch with him.
Mimi
