Dear all,
Anti-Semitism was nothing unusual even before Hitler and before and before
since Jews became Jews.
 As far as I know, I knew my father only a very short period in my life, I
know he fought for the Kaiser lost the sight, whether partially or
completely I don't know, in one eye, which regiment he served in I don't
know but, as soon as I can, I'll send you the engagement photo of my
parents and father is in uniform.
Why should anyone be surprised at Anti-Semitism in the army? The Austrians
+ Catholics where should they have learned "love for the Jews"? in
Church? at home? Our parents loved the Kaiser because he allowed them to
assimilate and gave them rights they never enjoyed before which does not
mean they had to accept us. What always surprises me is the surprise of
anti-Semitism, they all get it with their mother's milk.
