Thank you, Iris for this kind offer. Thank you, Shelley for the suggestion. In 1940 the family lived at 2060 Crotona Parkway, the Bronx. Sinai Burger was incorrectly enumerated (or mistranscribed in FamilySearch.org) as Siman Burger. As there could be further correspondence about this to me, I want to say that I am just now moving from Paris to New York and will not reliably be on email until July, but I will reply as soon as I get reestablished.

A good start might be the 1940 US census. It's free. It would give the neighborhood as a start.
