Dear friends,
I am writing to you with a difficult but important question.=20
My father passed away this week and I have chosen to arrange the =
funeral. I would like to read a poem that would have been meaningful to =
him, something from his past, something that would have reminded him of =
the people and places he loved. He always spoke proudly of his mother's =
passion for Heinrich Heine, how she could recite his work from memory. =
Perhaps someone here can recommend a piece suitable for the occasion? I =
am not familiar with Heine's work so if anyone has time to chat to me =
privately about it, I would be greatly indebted to you.
Warm regards,
Shula
