Heiliger Kreuz-Platz. In the center you can see the Town Hall (built in
1843-1847 years, architect Mikulicz). Right - the Church of the Exaltation
of the Holy Cross (built in 1787-1814 years, engineers Fenrih, Noyssner and
Baynholts). In the niches of the facade are seen sculptures that disappeared
in the First World War. To the left of the church - the former "Colonel
House" - one of the first stone buildings (built in 1782), then the casino
officer, now a puppet theater. The following building - a former tax
administration, its place in 1912-1913, built a four-storey Financial
Administration, now the police.
Photo 1907. yet old photos of the church
on July 19 we mark the 200th anniversary of the consecration of the
church.
