GEB on a gravestone has two uses: Standing before a date it means Born On.
But if standing before a name it means Born as ( maiden name.)
The Czernowitzer endowed with the necessary natural know- how should
       easily discern.
Or take it to the group for deliberation.
      Decision by majority vote,.

There should be a date after the "GEB"...it stands for Geboren which means
"born". Cornel

What do the letters GEB mean? They're on a number of headstones.
