I am currently reading "Too small to Matter"
by Edith Elefant Sommerfeld.
This book is about the life of the author, her ancestors in
Czernowitz and Marmorosh
and about her relatives; deported to Siberia and to Transnistria,
detained in Cyprus
and finally arriving in Eretz Israel.
It is less about Czernowitz and life there, than about the horrible
tribulations
which Czernowitzer Jews suffered in Siberia and Transnistria.
