The one I remember well was Sun Valley Serenade where
Glenn Miller launched the unforgettable "In the Mood"

Does one remember the first American films played in Czernowitz,
during the second Russian period 1944.
I remember one with Diana Durbin it was a musical not sure
of the tittle : I girl & 100 men. Then one a joint Russian_ American
with Robert Taylor. Can one recollect the Roxy where mostly
Tom Mix films were shown & cap pistols were discharged.
I think they also showed the House of Wax with Vincent Price.
I was so frightened that I left during the film.
