Hardy...
Me too, I'd like to hear that from our Czernowitz co-patriots, but meanwhile and for the beginning I'd be content with:
- Dear Jewish co-patriots, wherever you are,
- We remember your ancestors and their essential contribution to the prosperity of Czernowitz and Bukovina,
- We are aware of the crimes you and/or your ancestors had to face during the Holocaust as well as during the Romanian and Soviet regimes before and after WW2,
- You are invited to take up residence in Czernowitz, treated as an equal among equals,
- We cannot move from Morgenstern's from Ambrosgasse by now, since we have no alternative to this apartment on Gogolya,
- But once Ukraine will join the EU (or even before), we'll support you in claiming for restitution of damages.
I have to admit, dear Hardy, your version is by far more poetic and emmotional, mine is as always cool since I never lived myself in Czernowitz, but it would be sufficient for the time being. However Markus Winkler's conference is one more step in the right direction.

> We cannot describe the deep sorrow we felt when you went away.
> We moved up to the Morgenstern apartment on Ambrosgasse
> But only to keep if in shape until their return.
> Are they deceased by now ? Hospode pomele !
