[Cz-L] Lucca

I only met Lucca once, in Haifa, when I visited Hedwig while visiting
Israel. But she made a strong impression on me, and she sent me some of her
charming articles from the newspaper. I was very sad that she died so soon
after I met her.

Actually, you all made a strong impression on me, and I am forever grateful
to you Hedwig, for inviting me and for inviting Lucca and the others for me
to meet that evening.

My connection to Czernowitz, for those who haven't heard from me (I've been
quiet for a while) is that my great grandparents are buried in the cemetery,
my grandmother and my mother's sister were born there, and I participated in
the first cemetery clean up project, in 2008.

I encourage everyone to contribute to the cemetery fund, organized by Mimi.
I have contributed in honor of my mother, who is now 90, and think it's a
great gift to anyone with a Cz. connection.
