I agree with Bruce, the trees planted on the Hauptstrasse
are not from the genus "Prunus", which includes plum and cherry trees.
They may be Arborvitae, or they may be Junipers. If they are Arborvitae
they will turn brown in winter and with age loose their pyramidal shape.
Therefore I hope that they are Junipers.
