When we returned from Transnistria we lived on what was Universitaetsgasse 9
(my cousin's Ruthi Sharvit family lived there too) opposite the University,
now its Universitetska vulitza 15. The reason of the difference in the
numbers is that they start counting nowadays Universtetska from the
Ringplatz (Centralna ploshad). Before the Soviets the stretch from the
Ringplatz to the corner of Karolinengasse (where the Tempel was-is) was
called Tempelgasse (Duca to the Romanians).
 Osias Gottesman (1904-1991) was the husband of my father's cousin Charlotte
nee Wolf. Their son Robert Gottesman lives with his family in Ramat-Gan,
Israel.
Family Akselrad were neighbors of my late aunt Bertha Rubinstein - Rubin on
Strada Ilie Lutsa 3 (Romanian) - Verlaengerte Slowackigase 42(German).
There is a czernowitzer by the name of Zloczower who lives in Vienna. He
must be over 85.
