Hi Shelly - some have found their families but most did not because everyone perished. The stories are unbelievable. A 70 year old, successful doctor here in NY recently discovered from a Polish patient who recognized his last name, that he was thrown from a train on its way to Auschwitz when he was 2 weeks old! A Christian woman selling at a station caught him and brought him up. And then there were the babies who were brought up and loved for two and three years
and suddenly the war was over and their parents managed to survive the camps and came back to get them...and Israel wanting to put these children in orphanages in Israel to make up having lost over a million babies. The stories go on and on.....
