This video clip is part of a tape filmed in May 1999 when I visited with my father Kostyntsi (Costesti) where he was born in September 1927.
A resident of Kostyntsi was recounting her story of a Jewish girl that was with her in the Summer of 1941 and was hunted down and killed, when the Russian occupiers retreated before the Nazi invasion and the local Ruthenian (Ukrainian) peasants attacked the Jewish communities in Bukovina
