Re Trochenbrod - I just got a message from my cousin, whose grandparents (the brothers of my parental grandmother) emigrated from Trochenbrod to the US in the twenties, that a DVD on Trochenbrod was issued recently. I am copying her message:

The Lost Town DVD is now available for purchase! The DVD features the full-length Lost Town documentary film, video of an author-talk by Avrom Bendavid-Val on the history of Trochenbrod based on his book The Heavens Are Empty, and the Trochenbrod photo archive and exhibit curated by Andrea Liss.
