Dear all,

Olesko and Busk were the places I went to with Vasyl and Renata today. In both towns are the remains of a synagogue and a Jewish cemetery. Olesko is also known for its castle, connected with the Polish royal house. The Jewish cemetery of Busk is a very sad place. At the foot of the hill several mass graves were located and examined. Here are the remains of the Jewish population of Busk. I still do not know how to cope with this experiences. To photograph the locations, to document them, and to talk about it, is the only answer I have so far.

Best wishes,
Christian
