ASF Germany has had work-camps at the Czernowitz Jewish cemetery
since 2008.
Some members of our list have participated in these work-camps and
have enjoyed
working with the German volunteers and established lasting
friendships with them.
The work done by ASF members has been immensely useful in clearing
the cemetery
of weedy trees, bushes and climbing plants.
For those who would like to participate in a work-camp at the Jewish
cemetery of Cz.,
but cannot do so in July, CJCRO will most likely hold a work-camp at
the Cz. Jewish cemetery in either June or late August - early September.
It is most important that all who are physically able to participate
in one of the work-camps, do so.
"Im eyn ani lee me lee? ve-Im lo achshav eymatay?"
(If I do not do it, who will? and if not now, when?)
