Have seen the film about our great pilot heroes, very moving. There is
no end to stories about the terrible sufferings which happened during
the war to the Jewish people. And especially to children!
On another topic. In the 1927 directory, I noticed a Dawid Weidenfeld
"Propietar de Tipografie", owner of a printing business, could it be a
link to Lord Weidenfeld? How to find out, there is nothing except that
he was born in Vienna, which was closer to Czernowitz at the time than
nowadays.
A very speculative thought. Reminds me of Erich Roll, who also made it
to a Sir.
