For those of you who are interested in the career of Czernowitz-born Yiddish
actress Sidi Thal, you can see a display advertisement for her troupe in
January 1937, which crossed Romania for the entire month of January,
performing in seventeen locations, beginning in Focsani and ending in Piatra
(Neamt). I don't see that they performed in Czernowitz. In order to see this
ad and read about the two productions that they put on during their tour,
you need to be able to access Facebook, as I have posted it on my "Museum of
