The base of the Kriegerdenkmal has survived and the multilingual
inscriptions are legible. 2 interesting facts..people are still leaving
flowers next to it, and I was told that it is on the list of historical
monuments to be restored. Cornel

Kriegerdenkmal in memory of the fallen soldiers 41 Infantry Regiment
established December 2, 1902 to mark the 200th anniversary of the regiment,
architect Oscar Laske, destroyed by December 14, 1949.
