Dear Christian,
As you know, I'm sharing Bruce's sentiments on your book from the bottom of my heart. Me too, I'm encouraging our list members to get their copies soon; I've got mine as well as two prints out of it framed and fixed on the wall.
As for Southern Bukovina, let me give you an itinerary decision support. In the 1930s Southern Bukovina included the departments
Campulung:

Radauti:

Suceava:

If you are checking the census data at the above mentioned sites, you'll be able to establish - basing on the share of the Jewish population apart from the urban areas - your personal short list for places to go in rural Southern Bukovina, f. i. in the departments of
Campulung: Carlibaba-Noua, Carlibaba, Moldovita,...
Radauti: Putna, Vicovul-de-Sus, Fratautii-pe-Suceava,...
Suceava: Burdujeni, Comanesti, Darmanesti,...
An additional click on the symbols in the GPS column will lead you to GoogleMaps, displaying the GPS coordinates to you. I'm looking so much forward to reading your travel log and who knows, see you then in Southern Bukovina...?!

And I never travelled alone. There were always people - among them many list members - who commented, had questions or recommendations. A unique experience - I'm deeply grateful for this!

> The topic of the book and the related photo exhibition continues to occupie me. For April I plan a trip to Southern Bukovina - the Romanian part of the region. I started to compile a list of places to go. The bigger towns - like Radautz, Suceava or Siret - are anyway on this list. But I'm sure you or other list members have recommendations. I would be glad to hear them! Please let me know!
