Thank you, Bruce, for the friendly comment. I'm glad to know the book gives something to you. What I can say is, travelling to this places and taking pictures there, gave something to me. And I never travelled alone. There were always people - among them many list members - who commented, had questions or recommendations. A unique experience - I'm deeply grateful for this!
The topic of the book and the related photo exhibition continues to occupie me. For April I plan a trip to Southern Bukovina - the Romanian part of the region. I started to compile a list of places to go. The bigger towns - like Radautz, Suceava or Siret - are anyway on this list. But I'm sure you or other list members have recommendations. I would be glad to hear them! Please let me know!
Concerning Hardy's remark on radiation: Thank you Hardy for caring. I was not aware radiation is high there. So far I'm doing well. :-)

Hi Christian,
Your book is magnificent! It arrived on my doorstep about 2 weeks ago,
and I’ve been keeping it nearby, looking at some of the pictures over and
over again. Though my knowledge of Deutsch ist nicht so gut, I would
recommend this book to anyone, and especially to list members. Thank you
for documenting some of what remains of Jewish life in this region,
pre-WWII.
