Christian...
Impressing itinerary, virtually we'll dog your footsteps. Let me add my 4 x 0.5 cents as follows:
1. Between Gura Humorului (2) and Solca (3) you'll find the Salt Mine Cacica and I'm encouraging you to visit this oustanding place, climbing down - and up! - 220 stairs:

2. En route from Radauti (5) to Moldovita (6) you may experience Mitica's hospitality at his sheep farm and dairy in Horodnic de Sus:

3. Arriving in Moldovita (6), you may be in the mood for a time journey and embark a vehicle, which most probably you never used before: a mocăniţă! OK, I have to admit, it's slow, bumpy, smoky and wrecked, but it's extremely fun:

4. Coming to Vatra Dornei, please, please don't miss to meet my good friend Paul Brascanu, the author of "Cannons at the Gates of Bukovina" and allow him to take you to the mountains, to the Jewish Cemetery, to the Synagogue, to E. A. Ziffer's monument, etc. You'll definitely enjoy it:

Have fun and let us participate in your journey!

Subject: [Cz-L] Plans for April
Date: Mon, 2 Mar 2015 19:48:38 +0100
Dear all,
As I already posted recently I will be back on the road with my friends Petra and Achim in the first half of April 2015. With both of them I was already traveling two years ago in Galicia and Northern Bukovina in Ukraine - and I was very glad many of you joined our experiences and adventures. This time Southern Bukovina, by now the Romanian part of the former Austro-Hungarian crown land, is waiting for us. With the help of list members I compiled a list of places to go, but I'm sure there are more knowledgeable readers who are familiar with the hidden trasures of the region and who would give us hints where to go!

Best wishes,
Christian
