Hi Dow... here's some links that may be worth investigating on our
website and blog:

Photo Album - note the first slide:
czernowitz.ehpes.com/czernowitz6/ghetto/

If you go to our website:
http://czernowitz.ehpes.com and scroll down the MENU on the left, the
very last item is a search box. Type in Ghetto and you will get links to
all the posts about the Czernowitz Ghetto… There are 14 pages of
results (about 10 posts per page) You may find some useful information
in them.

On our website:
http://czernowitz.ehpes.com/stories/schreiber/schreiber_memoirs2.pdf
Chapter 3 and 4 deal with the Ghetto.

On our website — Map of the Czernowitz Ghetto from Leo Spitzer’s book (I
think):
http://czernowitz.ehpes.com/czernowitz3/newmaps/CzernowitzGhettoMap.jpg

Lots if info about the Ghetto here including the start date and the
start of Deportations to Transnistria:
czernowitz.ehpes.com/stories/mimi/ww2.html

More info here:
czernowitz.ehpes.com/czernowitz12/testfile2007/0601.html

Also search the Blog at:
http://ehpes.com/blog1
There is a search box on the right hand side of the page. Type in
‘Ghetto’ and you will be presented with all the posts about the Ghetto.
At the bottom of each blog page, there’s a link to ‘earlier posts’.

I’ll keep looking as I seem to remember that we posted a photo of the
original ‘Ordnung #38’ way back in time. Of course I can’t find it now.

Best,
jerome
