Familia Austria, the leading Austrian Society for Genealogy and History,

has thoroughly implemented "our" Czernowitz Address Directories for the years 1898, 1909, 1914, 1927, 1936, all in total 107,277 datasets, in their Data Collections. Most of you know the databases, but it's an excellent and handy additional research tool. Check it out by introducing f. i. the names of your ancestors into the overall search engine at

and enjoy the possible results for your query. Huge amounts of data are publicly accessible, but some of the offered services are restricted to members of Familia Austria, which is now accessible from the sidebar of our ehpes.com Blog too.
Thanks to the efforts Familia Austria our ancestors were "renaturalized" in Austria after one century and two World Wars. Great work!
