End of 1944 the Russian allowed Jews & others to leave Czernowitz
and Siret was the crossing point.
The pictures are poignant. Bad magic, images of a world we have lived in
then boom its gone.
I admire in Christian, Petra & Achim the skill in photography
to conjure the past.
