Dear Ruth,

As you may have heard from your daughter, in the course of the entire Yom Hashoa - from the opening ceremony at 20:00 at Yad Vashem until the next evening, several of the major channels (10, 11, 22, 23 etc.) do transmit various documentary as well as topical and personal films about the Shoa, on different sites, and reports from different survivors. Most other channels are down with just a Yiscor frame in the background, indicating that it is Yom Hashoa. There were indeed very few occasions
that documentaries or films about Transnistria were broadcast - this was one of the few examples.

Bsorot Tovot and Shabbat Shalom

Mordecai
