Dear all,
This is a fascinating account, thank you.
One sentence caught my eye, close to the beginning: "expelled to Vienna during World War I." I understand that my own family left their home during World War I, but I have never known the context of their departure. I had thought that they made the choice to leave. Does anyone know more about these expulsions?
Kind regards,
Shula
