Dearest Anny,
Every time I read a new survivor story I think of you and of my cousin who survived with her parents in Moghilew and of the other cousin who saved himself and others from the sinking Viitorul ( September1942) ship and my other cousin whose parents sent her with the Red Cross Children’s train to Palestine (March 1943) and she met her parents again only 7 years later. All from Czernowitz, your generation !
There are , luckily, many others .
I liked Chava Wolf’s paintings and her comments.
I am proud of you and your achievements.
Happy Birthday to Israel !
Wishing you all good health and happiness,
Herzlichst,
Irene

Thank you very much Irene. This is one of the great "survival" stories. Each one of us has gone through this horror, a personal horror for each one of us, I thought of my personal battle as being part of it but then, reading this and other stories, I feel ashamed, I've gone through it all in the George V.
Today, our Memorial Day for all those young people dying defending this little piece of land, I know that my youth movement saved MY life it kept my hopes aive

Dear All,
Yesterday, on Yom Hashoah I listened to a pleasant radio-interview with Chava Wolf Wizhnitzer .
She was deported as a child from Radauti.
See the English version of her story and her interesting poems and Paintings at:
