I too don't see the name of Dr. Julius Bacher who was a surgeon in the
Jewish Hospital. He used to treat my father, who suffered from hemorrhages
as a result of an ulcer. Dr. Bacher was with us on the Cariera de Piatra -
Stone Quarry deportation camp. The camp was dissolved and the people except
about 200 were transferred over the Bug river to the Germans (where most all
of them perished). At that time my father suffered from a bad attack. Dr.
Bacher ordered that he shouldn't be moved which saved my mother and me too.

I don’t see the name of Dr. Menschel, who lived under the same roof with me
in Bershad,
Transnistria. His children live in Israel.
